Ben

Ben is a qualified high school teacher who is passionate about both music and education. He has completed a Bachelor of Applied Music (Performance) and a Graduate Diploma of Education and has been performing around Melbourne for roughly 10 years.

Ben has wide-ranging experience writing music for an array of instruments, as he has been arranging original music since he began playing when he was 14 years old. His writing was acknowledged by Top Arts in 2010, which allowed Ben to perform at both the Melbourne Recital Centre and the Palais Theatre at the age of 17.

Ben also has extensive experience teaching both privately and within high schools. He can teach Guitar and Bass guitar to a high level and can teach Drums up to an intermediate level. Ben approaches music education holistically, trying to contextualize practice and performance to allow students to make the most out of their experiences with it.
