Bill is a classically trained pianist and organist currently studying Bachelor of music: Popular music at Monash university. He teaches classical music syllabus of AMEB and ABRSM, and students of all ages and levels. If you are no interested in classical music he will also be teaching contemporary pop music, as it is his current area of study, where you will be learning tunes from the radio from the 70s till today. Bill also has a deep interest and specialisation in Japanese and Korean contemporary pop music as it is his music investigation topic in both high school and university and he will be very happy to introduce you into or if you share common interest.
Bill also has experiences in performing in classical chamber music ensembles and concertos, as well as contemporary pop music ensemble if you are looking forward to become an ensemble performer or accompanist.
Bill is passionate about both classical and 20th century African American Jazz musical theory. He will provide musical discipline beyond muscle memory and allow students to develop interest in music. He will ensure every students become an all rounder musician by developing different aspects of musical knowledge and ability with patience and dedication.
