William

With more than 12 years of violin experience, William has had ample experience in both ensemble and solo performance. In 2023, William completed his final year (from year 7) of year 12 VCE at the select entry Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), in which he has received nationally recognised music education from teachers and instrumental specialists renowned in the industry – through his participation in VCASS’ symphony orchestra, senior strings, chamber ensembles and chamber choir. He has additionally been involved in Melbourne Youth Orchestras. Further, William has over 10 years experience with the piano as his secondary instrument. He also possesses extensive knowledge of both the theory, musicianship and compositional aspects of music, contributed to by his advanced education received at VCASS.

Following his year 12 VCE Music Composition studies, he was placed in the top 6 of his Victorian cohort for 2023, and was additionally in the top 5% for his VCE Music Performance studies in violin.

Moreover, William has been invited to perform his original composition Ombres Danantes for string quartet in 2024 VCE Top Class Sound.

William has also completed his AMEB AmusA Diploma recently.
