Who we are

AMS is a progressive music centre that delivers first class music education to the highest professional standards for all major and some rare  musical instruments.

We are working with 20+ professional teachers who are fully qualified and well experienced in world leading methods such as Kodaly and Suzuki. Our teachers have taught at many leading Australian and international schools including top private schools. We prepare students for all levels of all examinations including AMEB, ABRSM, VCE and IB. Classes are offered in individual and group instrumental tuition, as well as aural, theory and ensembles (which consist of a choir and orchestra), currently running on Sundays.

We have a large number of rooms and teachers in use every day to offer maximum convenience for parents/guardians whom have more than one child undertaking lessons, allowing for siblings to study at similar times. For those who are particularly serious about their studies, there is also the possibility for instrumental, theory and ensemble lessons to occur all on the same day, as we are open 7 days a week, we can offer our students a fair degree of flexibility in booking times.
