AMS Music Centre is pleased to provide Music Theory Lessons.

As per the continued improvement of our services and after discussions with our most senior and experienced teachers we are introducing Group Music Theory classes.

Class sizes will vary but will essentially be modest. We will run 45 or 60-minute group classes, depending upon the size of each group. Theory classes will cover the AMEB master your theory series, rhythm studies, aural studies, general knowledge, and music history.

We recognize that students are already covering Music Theory in their lessons with their teachers, however, we are also aware of the various difficulties teachers face in educating students to all the technical requirements of their instruments, unfortunately, this does not leave a great deal of time for the teachers to dedicate to theory in each lesson. Studying Music Theory will enable students to make further progress in musical education and performance.

  • Group of 2-3 students – 30 min
  • Group of 4 students – 45 min
  • Group of 5 students and more – 60 min
